Bring the family to the Taste of DC Maker Academy for a colorful hands-on art adventure where kids and parents can create, learn, and design together. Mosaic Art Lab (Family Edition) is a creative workshop that introduces families to the timeless craft of mosaic art while giving kids the chance to design their own bright, tile-based masterpiece to take home.

  • Create your own colorful mosaic art piece using tiles, stones, and decorative materials

  • Learn beginner mosaic techniques including pattern building, color balance, and tile placement

  • Mix your own lemonade or juice infusion with fresh fruit and herbs
